Newcastle Jets interim Chief Executive Officer, Mr David Eland, has today encouraged supporters to take advantage of online pre-sale ticket prices or consider Membership for the remainder of the club’s Hyundai A-League home matches this season. The Jets have made increases to its Category 2 and 3 game day ticket pricing from round five due to changes in the club’s venue hire agreement with Venues NSW - the body that manages Hunter Stadium.
No changes have been made to Category 1 game day ticket pricing.
The amendments to game day ticket prices from round five are reflective of the fact that the club was unaware of the revised venue hire agreement when prices for the 2015/16 season were established.
“Given there have been some changes to the club’s venue hire agreement, we have had to respond to minimise the potential financial losses incurred by the club,” Mr Eland explained.
“Nevertheless, supporters can still take advantage of the same pre-purchase pricing by buying their tickets online or at any Ticketmaster outlet before matchday.
“Or supporters can opt to become club Members and obtain the most affordable admission to our matches, plus a range of other benefits.
“Memberships are available via our website (www.newcastlejets.com.au) or by calling our team on 4088 8004,” he said.
Newcastle Jets currently have 8,218 Members for the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season.
Adults can access the remaining 12 of the club’s home matches this season from $160 via Membership.
