Newcastle Jets are set to record a supporter milestone at McDonald Jones Stadium this Sunday when the Club hosts Brisbane Roar in the Hyundai A-League.
The 1.5 millionth fan is set to wander through the turnstiles at the venue which has been home to the Club since the Hyundai A-League kicked off back in 2005.
Indeed, the 7,383rd person to click through the gates this weekend will be the 1.5 millionth supporter, and the lucky football fan will also be rewarded after the Club’s Major Community Partner Greater Bank pledged to open a $500 account in the supporter’s name.
What’s more, the 7,383rd fan through the turnstiles will also be given the unique privilege of tossing the coin before the game between Mark Jones’ Jets and John Aloisi’s Brisbane Roar.
