Youngster Jarrod Knight from Windermere Park became the 1.5 millionth supporter to watch Newcastle Jets at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday.
Jarrod, who came through the gates alongside his father Adam, was the 7,383rd person to enter the ground at the weekend.
For his support Jarrod was rewarded with the opportunity to toss the coin pre-match, and got $500 to take home thanks to the Club’s Major Community Partner, Greater Bank.
Greater Bank’s Head of Marketing and Customer Experience, Matt Hingston, was on hand to present the cheque to Jarrod and Adam pre-match.
The next Newcastle Jets home game in Hyundai A-League Season 2016/17 is on Saturday 29 October 2016 against Sydney FC.
