In September Newcastle Jets launched the club’s playing kits for the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season, with the promise that its Members would get to take part in an exclusive vote to decide when the players would don its BLK gold strips throughout the campaign.
Over the last week the vote has been run and won, with the following matches chosen by the club’s Members after over 1,600 votes were lodged online.Â
Newcastle Jets will first wear gold in just a few weeks’ time against F3 Derby foes Central Coast Mariners (round 6).Â
Jets players will sport gold kits again in round 13 when Melbourne Victory returns to Hunter Stadium for the second time this season.Â
And in round 23 the Jets will wear gold for the third time this campaign when Tony Popovic’s Western Sydney Wanderers arrive in town.
