Newcastle Jets can confirm that the Club has finalised a mutual contract termination with 22-year-old midfielder Mitch Cooper.
Cooper joined the Jets in 2012 from the now defunct Gold Coast United.
Cooper, who was born in Vanuatu, represented the Club 33 times in the Hyundai A-League, scoring one goal.
The former Australian U17 and U20 international said: “I appreciate everything that the Club has done for me since I arrived from Queensland. The supporters and staff have been excellent to me, so I wish everyone all the best.”
Newcastle Jets thanks Cooper for his contribution to the Club over the past four years and wishes him well in his future pursuits.
