Newcastle Jets is pleased to announce that the Club has teamed up with Major Sponsor Inspirations Paint to ensure that football fans around Australia, and even abroad, will be able to view the Club’s Hyundai A-League 2016/17 Pre-Season Friendly against Western Sydney Wanderers this weekend.
Less than a day after recommitting their support to Newcastle Jets for a further Hyundai A-League campaign, Inspirations Paint has agreed to back the Club in its endeavours to provide a live stream of the friendly fixture to be played at the impressive Cessnock Sportsground for fans who may not physically be able to attend the match.
On Thursday it was announced that Inspirations Paint had re-signed with the Club as a Major Sponsor for both the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League 2016/17 Seasons. Inspirations Paint branding will feature on the front of both team’s away kits this campaign, plus on the back of each side’s home jerseys.
Indeed, Inspirations Paint took their support for Newcastle Jets to a whole new level yesterday by launching #TheJetsHouse. #TheJetsHouse is a highly visible expression of the passion and loyalty of Novocastrian football fans, and features the entire exterior of a Jets fan’s house painted in Club colours. #TheJetsHouse – unmissable following its recent makeover – is located on Turton Road in Broadmeadow, just a boot of a ball away from the Club’s home ground of Hunter Stadium.
Today Newcastle Jets Chief Executive Officer Lawrie McKinna again thanked Inspirations Paint for their ongoing support of the Club plus football in Australia.
“Inspirations Paint continue to go above and beyond in their support of the Club and the sport of football generally,” McKinna said. “We are hopeful of achieving a crowd in excess of 3,000 for the match against Western Sydney Wanderers in Cessnock on Saturday, however our live stream broadcast which will be available via www.newcastlejets.com.au will provide many more people who live in regions outside Newcastle and the Hunter Valley with the opportunity to engage with the game.”
Newcastle Jets will be shooting for six pre-season wins a row when they challenge Tony Popovic’s Wanderers in the Coalfield’s on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is at 3pm.
