After last weekend’s washout against Maitland FC, Newcastle Jets Youth will return to PS4 NPL (Northern NSW) action this Saturday with a trip to Magic Park to take on Broadmeadow Magic FC.
Magic will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat away to the high-flying Edgeworth FC on Sunday, while the Jets should enter the fixture fresh after their game against the Magpies was postponed on Saturday due to wet weather.
Magic are currently third on the PS4 NPL NNSW standings while Jets Youth are sixth, although Clayton Zane’s junior Jets have played a game less than their upcoming rivals.
Jets Youth and Broadmeadow Magic last met in late May, with Magic claiming all three points via a 4-1 win. Jets Youth have improved considerably since then however, and should provide a stern test for Broadmeadow on their home turf.
Kick-off is at 2:00pm on Saturday, with lower grades played prior.
