Saturday afternoon’s National Youth League fixture between the Newcastle Jets and Central Coast Mariners has been postponed due to recent wet weather.
The decision has been made in consultation with senior Mariners- officials, groundstaff at Bluetongue Stadium, Match Officials and Football Federation Australia, and based on the playability of the pitch, and its resultant condition for tonight-s Hyundai A-League clash.
Gates will still open at Bluetongue Stadium at 3:00pm, with kick-off in the Round 26 Hyundai A-League F3 Derby between the Mariners and Jets still scheduled for 6:00pm.
A date for the rescheduling of the National Youth League clash will be advised in due course.
