See who claimed the top prizes at the 2010/11 awards.

Nikolai Topor-Stanley has been rewarded for his colossal performances at the back this season, picking up the Newcastle Jets- Player of the Season Award at tonight-s Presentation Evening.

The 25-year-old was a standout in his 28 appearances for the Jets, being rightly labelled one of the best defenders in the competition and forcing many to call for his inclusion in upcoming Qantas Socceroos squads.

Topor-Stanley captained the team at the end of the 2010/11 campaign, and led by example, netting his first goals for the club along the way.

Hayley Crawford picked up the top gong for the Jets- Westfield W-League side, as she captained the team to a sixth-placed finish this season, appearing in all 10 games in 2010/11 for her hometown club.

The inspirational skipper has been a mainstay in the Newcastle line-up over the years, and tonight-s award was deserved recognition of her services to the women-s game.

Meanwhile, Sam Gallaway was voted as the best of the Novocastrian youngsters, as he was named National Youth League Player of the Season.

The award capped off a stunning year for the 18-year-old defender, who has gone from the Australian Institute of Sport to a contract with the Jets- Hyundai A-League side in a matter of months.

Indeed, it was certainly a gala occasion all-round as everyone involved with the club celebrated a truly memorable season.

The evening also allowed the club to bid a fond farewell to outgoing CEO John Tsatsimas. After spending 4-years driving the administration of the Jets, Tsatsimas was paid a fitting tribute by his peers as he departed the organisation.
