In this week’s episode Meredith chats exclusively fresh Newcastle Jets recruits Steven Ugarkovic and Morten Nordstrand.
Ugarkovic discusses life playing in Croatia, his time with the Olyroos, how his opportunity to come to the Jets came about, plus how Mateo Poljak “took him under his wing” on his arrival at the club.
‘Ugar’ also tells Meredith which song he will sing for his initiation into the group, reveals which former Jet – and Australia U23 teammate – he believes has the worst taste in music, plus much, much more.
Later on Nordstrand speaks about his arrival at the Jets, tells fans about his career for club and country in Europe, and says that his aim is to create chances for his teammates and score goals during his time with the men from Hunter Stadium.
Also this week Fox Football commentator and ‘Boarding Pass’ fan Brenton Speed chats with Gibbsy. Brenton shares his views on Ugarkovic and Nordstrand, plus previews the club’s round 18 meeting with the Reds in the city of churches this weekend.
