HSG are pleased to announce that QR National will be a major partner of the Jets and Knights.
The Hunter Sports Group (HSG) are pleased to announce QR National have today signed a major three-year sponsorship across the Group.
QR National will be a Major Partner of both the Newcastle Jets and Newcastle Knights with the QR National logo appearing on both teams’ shorts. The partnership also includes a number of community engagement programs such as rail safety for children, as well as scholarships, health and well-being programs and volunteer recognition programs.
QR National is Australia’s largest rail freight company with services operating across five states. In 2010/11, QR National transported more than 240 million tonnes of freight, including coal, iron ore, other minerals, agricultural products and general freight. It also operates and manages the 2300 kilometre Central Queensland coal network that links mines to coal ports at Bowen, Mackay and Gladstone.

QR National Managing Director & CEO Lance Hockridge joined players and officials from both teams at Newcastle-s Ausgrid Stadium to make the announcement today.
