The Jets will be looking for their third consecutive win over the Sky Blues this season and another big crowd is expected to watch the contest.

The return of former Jet Joel Griffiths to Newcastle is sure to create plenty of interest among both sets of fans, while Sydney-s big-name trio of Alessandro Del Piero, Brett Emerton and Jason Culina will also be among the players to watch.

The most recent match between the two sides attracted a crowd of 17,402 to Hunter Stadium, which was the Jets- largest home attendance since their Championship winning season of 2007/08.
On that occasion, the Jets came out in front, with Craig Goodwin and former England international Emile Heskey finding the back of the net in a 2-1 win.
It was the second time this season that Heskey has scored in a Jets victory over Sydney FC, following their 3-2 win in front of 35,419 fans at Allianz Stadium in Round 2.
Del Piero also scored in that fixture and the A-League-s two marquee players are sure to be major drawcards again next Saturday night.
