Jets Head Coach Mark Jones has named a preliminary 18-player squad for Saturday’s Hyundai A-League clash with Melbourne City at AAMI Park.

Four players – Harrison Sawyer, Ivan Vujica, Jack Duncan and Joel Allwright – have been added to the squad that lost 3-1 last start against Brisbane Roar.

Jason Hoffman is suspended this week and will miss the match against his former club, while Nicholas Cowburn has been given permission to travel to Murcia, Spain with an Australian Development Squad for matches against Austria and Finland’s U21 teams.

Goalkeeper Duncan is the biggest inclusion for Saturday’s fixture – the man who has made 58 saves this campaign could play his first match minutes since round 20. Duncan sustained a hip-flexor injury just before the club’s round 21 #F3Derby against Central Coast Mariners.
