Newcastle Jets can confirm Kaine Sheppard will not return to the Club for the remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2019/20 season, with the striker set to pursue other opportunities.
Sheppard joined Newcastle for the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 season and made his debut for the Club in last season’s Round 1 clash with Wellington Phoenix.
He’d go on to play 28 games for the Jets, scoring three times.
“I really enjoyed my time in Newcastle, and I’d like to wish the boys and the Club all the best for the rest of the season and beyond,” Sheppard said.
The Club would like to thank Kaine for his contribution over the past two seasons and wishes him all the very best in the future.
