In the off-season Newcastle Jets liaised with the Squadron to help create a new home for the group behind the goals at the southern end of McDonald Jones Stadium.
You may have noticed that a new, fenced area for the Squadron is in now in place, which meets Football Federation Australia’s Active Support Requirements.
To enter the Squadron’s Active Support Area, supporters must purchase either a Squadron Membership or Squadron Ticket on Game Day.
There are a number of ways to participate in Active Support for the 2016/17 Season.
Squadron Membership
You can purchase a full season or three game Squadron Membership. A Membership represents a significant cost saving to purchasing tickets game to game. Please click here to purchase your Membership.
If you currently hold a Jets Membership NOT in the Squadron Bay, you can swap your Membership for a Game Day Squadron ticket. Simply visit the Membership Services window outside the Western Grand Stand at McDonald Jones Stadium.
Online
You can pre-purchase an Adult Squadron ticket by clicking here and selecting the fixture you wish to purchase tickets for. Click “South General Admission” to bring up Southern Hill categories. If purchasing via the Ticketmaster mobile app select “Newcastle Jets Supporter Area”. Unfortunately Junior and Concession Squadron tickets can only be purchased at the Stadium.
Stadium
Squadron tickets can also be purchased at the dedicated ticket window at the Southern Entry gates. If you purchase a non-Squadron ticket and wish to swap it, you can swap it for a Squadron ticket at this window also.
