Show your support for the club’s Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League sides this Sunday at Hunter Stadium.
For the final time this campaign Jets men and women will play back-to-back, ensuring the club’s Members and supporters get to see two games for the price of one.
The action starts at 2:00pm with Newcastle Jets Women hosting Brisbane Roar’s Westfield W-League side. Jets Women must earn a solid victory against Roar and hope that another result goes their way in order to qualify for the competition’s Finals Series.
After Craig Deans’ girls have played, Scott Miller’s side will be seeking to close the gap on the Hyundai A-League’s top six with a win over Wellington Phoenix.
The Jets are currently just one place behind the Phoenix on the Hyundai A-League ladder, and having defeated the men from the land of the long white cloud in round 1 will take confidence into Sunday’s meeting with Ernie Merrick’s side.
Kick-off in the club’s Westfield W-League clash against Brisbane Roar is at 2:00pm, while the Hyundai A-League kick-off is at 5:00pm.
