Teenage Australian Kristian Brymora has signed a one-year professional deal with English Championship club Millwall overnight.

The former Newcastle Jets attacker, 18, has been trialling in the UK over the European off-season and caught the eye of the Lions after a stellar showing in a recent intra-club friendly.

During his trial with the London club, Brymora scored a hat-trick and provided the assist in a 4-0 win in an intra-club match between the U18s and U23s.

This display convinced the club to sign the young Australian.

Brymora is set to play for Millwall 23s in England’s Professional Development League, but will also train with Millwall’s first team over the coming season as he seeks to make his mark in England.

His agent, Joel Grenell Executive Manager of IE Sports in Australia, told www.a-league.com.au that the contract was just reward for the player’s determination.

“He left on a one-way ticket determined to find a club. It’s always a risk but we had a clear plan in place for Kristian and he has an excellent attitude,” he said.
