The U15 Emerging Jets Girls were crowned U18 Women’s Premier League Champions after defeating Merewether United on Sunday.

The U15 Emerging Jets Girls were crowned U18 Women-s Premier League Champions after defeating Merewether United FC 2-0 in the Grand Final at Macquarie Field on Sunday.

The Emerging Jets U15 Girls secured victory over the Minor Premiers courtesy of goals to Hannah Bourke and Ashlee Brodigan.

Meanwhile, the U18 Emerging Jets Boys have qualified for the Preliminary Final of U23 NBN State League after defeating Charlestown City Blues 2-1 in their semi-final clash at Darling Street Oval on Saturday.

They will take on Edgeworth Eagles FC next weekend in a bid to secure a place in the Grand Final against Broadmeadow Magic in a fortnight-s time.

The U12 Emerging Jets Boys have progressed through to next weekend-s Grand Final of the U13 Metropolitan State Youth League after defeating Macquarie Football Blue 2-0 in their semi-final at Arthur Edden Oval on Saturday.

The U11 Emerging Jets Boys achieved the same feat in the U12 Metropolitan State Youth League, beating Macquaire Football Blue 1-0 to book their place in the decider.

Meanwhile, the U16 Emerging Jets were eliminated from the semi-finals of the U19 NBN State League by Broadmeadow Magic.

The two sides played out an absolutely thrilling 7-7 draw, before Broadmeadow eventually prevailed in a penalty shootout.
