When the Newcastle Jets commence pre-season training later this month, a fresh face from Tasmania via Victoria will link with the club’s Hyundai A-League squad.
22-year-old Andy Brennan, signed by the Jets in April this year from National Premier League (NPL) heavyweights South Melbourne FC, is set to arrive in Newcastle this weekend following his successful spell with the men from Lakeside Stadium.
While Jets fans will have the opportunity to learn more about Brennan throughout the club’s pre-season campaign, we’re delighted to share the above highlights reel of Andy in action for Chris Taylor’s men in 2015.
Brennan netted seven goals in all competitions and provided plenty of assists for his teammates to help South to third place in NPL Victoria, and keep their club’s Westfield FFA Cup run alive, before he departed Melbourne to move to Newcastle.
