W-League: Martin misses Melbourne match

Craig Deans has named his squad for this weekend’s clash with Melbourne Victory, with one notable omission.

Annabel Martin, who missed out late last week, is confirmed to be sidelined for around 4 weeks with a knee injury.

Jets fans can expect a similar line-up to previous weeks, and Tara Andrews will be keen to add to her total this weekend following her fourth goal of the season.

It was a strike that put her equal third in the goalscoring standings, and she’ll once again be important on Sunday afternoon.

Claire Coelho played a big role in last weekend’s match against Brisbane Roar, and she now leads the league for saves made with 40. Next best is Sydney FC’s Aubrey Bledsoe with 30.
