W-League: Squad named for City quest

After an air quality cancellation last weekend, the Jets are back in Westfield W-League action this Saturday.

Back in Melbourne, this time it’s the sky blue of Melbourne City which awaits and it’s a crunch clash with the gap between Newcastle and the top four widening.

There are two ins for the weekend, with Sophie Nenadovic in the mix for the first time while Renee Pountney is again a chance of seeing her first minutes of the season.

Gema Simon will lead the side out once again, and will be keen to double her tally for the season after getting off the mark in Sunday 5 January’s clash with Melbourne Victory.
