Daniel Georgievski

A Joe Marston medal winner for Victory, it was a risky move to head north for Daniel Georgevski at the conclusion of the 2016/17 Hyundai A-League season but one which paid off. He quickly became a key member of the Newcastle side, playing 20 times in his debut 2017/18 stint and helping to shore up the backline. The highlight of his time so far with the Newcastle Jets would be his lone goal, scored against former employers Melbourne Victory. Set up by a deft DImi Petratos backheel, Georgevski’s shot was a pearler and rightly won goal of the week. Georgevski’s first appearance for the club was in the FFA Cup on 9 August 2017, in a 1-0 loss to Adelaide United.
