Nick Cowburn

A Toronto Awaba junior, Nick Cowburn has proven himself a consistent and versatile choice for the Jets. The 23-year-old comes from a good football background in Newcastle, with father, Brett and brother, Jason both playing for Newcastle back in the NSL days. The highlight of Cowburn’s time so far with the Newcastle Jets would be the 2015-16 season, where he played in 22 of the club’s 27 Hyundai A-League matches. Cowburn’s professional debut was for the Jets, a 1-1 draw with Western Sydney Wanderers on 22 November 2014.
